In Defence Of Lola Omotayo Okoye - Deschil
This post was written by Deschil:
Each time I read the nasty comments about Lola Omotayo Okoye my heart gets heavy. I do not know her in person- just like most of you. She has been called "old", "shameless" even a "gold digger"! Some "kind" people even empathize with her and "understand" that Peter married her because of her kids.
Let's get a few things straight;
Nobody has the right to choose another person's spouse
I was in school with Psquare, Peter had a girlfriend-Ada-whom he was crazy about. Ada is a splitting image of Lola...does that imply anything?
Age is not the determinant of a good marriage; either party could be older
Prince Charles married "much younger" Diana, how did that go? How old is his present wife-whom he loved all along?
Prince Williams forsook all the "younger girls" in England and married an older bride
Sullivan Chime married a "much younger" Clara; again, how did that go
For those who went as far as calling Lola a runs girl, who sleeps with her "uncles", do you know this lady? Do you know this for a fact or is it just hear say? Why defame an innocent lady who is minding her own business? Do you think Peter is a fool?
For those who justify these rumours with the story of her living in a "mansion" in Ikoyi-shebi you people say she is old? Do you know she has a career, did you expect that at her "old age" she wouldn't have risen through the ranks?
For those of you who see only young brides as a wise choice, it is because you haven't gotten married yet. There are some childish attributes the young wife will have that will make you almost regret the marriage-that is if you don't do that eventually
Peter knew very well what he was doing. He wants peace, companionship and joy. A mature and experienced mother for his kids. He saw all the "young girls" world over before he made his beautiful choice.
“I Didn't Even Cum!” - Man, 45, Arrested For Raping 75-year-old Woman In Ekiti
A 45-year-old farmer, Lawrence Adedapo, is now in Police custody for allegedly forcibly having carnal knowledge of a 75-year-old woman, Grace Asaolu, at Ogbese Camp, Ise-Ekiti in Ise-Orun Local Government Area of Ekiti State.
According to Vanguard, Adedapo had invited the old lady to his house on November 7 this year under the pretence that he had some plantain from his farm for sale.
Only for him to take advantage of the old woman’s fragile nature, overpowered her and had sex with her.
Telling her story, the victim said:
“Lawrence Adedapo is my neighbour. He invited me to come and collect plantain but instead he pushed me on his children’s bed and forcefully had carnal knowledge of me. I later rushed to the police station to report the matter.”
Upon interrogation, the suspect confirmed that he had carnal knowledge of the woman but denied forcing her, claiming that she was his mistress.
He said:
“I knew her long time ago. I knew her as a widow from Moba Local Government Area of the state. We have known each other for the past 35 years and I have been dating her for long.
The last time I had sex with her was in April during Easter before meeting her again on November 7. That was the second time we met this year.
I did not force her into it and I had her consent before doing it”.
Asked why she reported the matter to the police, Adedapo said:
“I promised to give her N2,000 which she asked for before we did it. But after the sex I was able to give her N1,000 only. That could be the reason why she alleged that I raped her.
I later found out that she was bleeding as a result of the sex.
I did not even ejaculate because I used my children’s room, so I had to rush.”
However, the police image maker in the state, Mr. Victor Babayemi, ASP, insisted that the investigation carried out by the police revealed that the old woman was actually raped by the suspect. He said:
“In the course of investigation, facts emerged that the suspect knew the victim to be of old age, 75, and in menopause. She could not have been bleeding without tampering with her organ. Medical report shows that there was a violent sexual assault on her; she was also said to be distressed with her genital smeared with fresh blood. It shows that he invited the woman with criminal intent to have intercourse with her.

A married couple who are polyamorists, have opened up about their unconventional relationship
Kamala Devi and Michael McClure, aged 38 and 49 respectively, swore off monogamy from day one. They have up to a dozen different lovers each – some to themselves and some who they share. Six months ago they welcomed 27-year-old bisexual Rachel Rickards into their home in San Diego, California, and now the three of them enjoy each other’s company – and bodies.
‘One of my favoroite things since we all lived together is actually the fact that we do more exercise. It’s so improved my live,’ Ms Devi told ABC News, while Mr McClure interjected: ‘And your butt.’
They say that Ms Rickards also provides a helping hand when it comes to raising their six-year-old son, Devin. He was educated about his unusual family set-up from a young age.
Addressing concerns about how he might be effected by the situation Mr McClure said: ‘He understands the word “polyamory.”
‘He understands what that means. He doesn’t really know what sex is yet.’
‘He has so much love and he has so many aunties and uncles,’ Ms Devi also said in a previous interview, likening her lovers to family members.
Indeed, Devin appears to enjoy having ‘two mothers’ around the house.

Resident Of Enugu Rush To Mysterious Healing River For Healing [Photos]
A River with ‘healing powers’ (according to the people of the community) mysteriously appeared in a community in Enugu State called Nachi, in Udi LGA. The river, now called Orimiri Jordan (River Jordan) was first seen on Nov. 11th.
According to reports, a Fulani Herdsmen first spotted the river and ran to people in the community to alert them of the discovery. He told them that as he passed the area with his herd of cattle, he heard a strange noise, and when he turned back, he saw the river that wasn’t there previously. The community went to look for themselves and discovered that the water has healing powers. But the traditional ruler of Nachi community said something slightly different. He said the river appears every 20 to 30 years but dries up after a few weeks so it wasn’t anything new.
An elder in the community explained: “We noticed that after some years, the water will form a stream there and would disappear in few weeks. If such happens, we will be fetching water there. However, women who are menstruating and evil people don’t go there. We never heard about healing power of the River until this recent appearance of the River.
“The last time it appeared was in 1992, and at that time, it just formed a small stream, which later disappeared. It has never been as large as this. This is all I know, we have never known about its healing power, this is the first time we are hearing about healing, I don’t whether it is true”.
Meanwhile, Okada people are already making money from this as they charge passengers between N500 to N1,000 to transport them from a junction to the Healing River as hundreds visit the place every day to get some of the water which quite a lot of people testify has healing powers.

National carrier inauguration: Oduah presents 20-yr-old plane to Jonathan
Minister of Aviation, Princess Stella Oduah is set to present the new national carrier to President Goodluck Jonathan today in spite of glaring adequacies in the arrangement.
This is coming on the heels of the scandal which trailed the acquisition of two armoured cars for the minister by the Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority, NCAA, at hyper-inflated rate of N255m.
Sunday Mirror authoritatively learnt yesterday that preparations are in top gear to present to President Jonathan today a refurbished aircraft of over 20 years old as one of the airplanes for the national carrier.
Investigations by our correspondent revealed that the aircraft, a Boeing 737-400 with the registration number 5N-BLC was parked at the Execu Jet, a private maintenance hangar facility at the Murtala Mohammed International Airport, MMIA, Lagos having arrived in the country on Tuesday night. The aircraft, our correspondent gathered, was one of the old aircraft formerly operated by Air Nigeria.
It was also gathered that the Ministry of Aviation had changed the name of the proposed national carrier from ‘Nigeria One’ to ‘Nigeria Eagle’, the name previously used by Air Nigeria before it was changed. In the new national carrier, Air Nigeria’s (Nigeria Eagle) fleet is expected to combine with the fleet of another airline, Aero Contractor.
Aero presently has about 12 aircraft in its fleet while Air Nigeria before it suspended operations equally had about 12 aircraft.
Our correspondent gathered that apart from the combination of the two airlines, about 10 other aircraft have been booked with Bombardier Aircraft Manufacturing Company based in Brazil by the government. The delivery of the 10 aircraft is expected to commence from March 2014.
Oduah had told aviation stakeholders and professionals that the proposed national carrier would be handled by private investors while government would only provide enabling environment for the investors.
With this latest information, the investors behind the new carrier are still shrouded in mystery just as the equity ratio of government and the investors in the national carrier.
Also, the routes allocation to the carrier is still shrouded in secrecy as the government has kept mute on the deal. Attempts to contact the Special Assistant, Media to the minister, Mr. Joe Obi, proved abortive as his mobile lines could not connect
Alleged Double Registration: Ekwunife Asks Court To Disqualify Obiano As APGA Candidate
The first runner-up in the Anambra governorship primaries of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA), Mrs. Uche Ekwunife, has dragged the winner of the primaries and flag-bearer of the party, Chief Willie Obiano, to court over his eligibility to stand for election.
Obiano was alleged to have registered in Lagos and Anambra states respectively, which amounts to double registration as stipulated by the electoral act.
Ekwunife, a member of the House of Representatives, is basing her argument on the alleged double registration status of Obiano with the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, as a voter, which she contends disqualified him from contesting the election.
In the suit filed at the Federal High Court, Awka, Anambra State capital, in suit number FHC/AWK/CS/281/2013, Ekwunife is also asking the court to declare her as the rightful candidate of APGA.
Obiano, APGA and INEC are joined as defendants in the suit. No date has been fixed for hearing in the suit.
Among other reliefs, Ekwunife is also seeking that INEC should be compelled to recognise her as the candidate of the party for the November 16 governorship election in Anambra State, based on Obiano’s double registration.
D’banj Breaks Up With His Secret Lover
“Jennifer Obayuwana is the fashionista daughter of the very stylish Mr. John Obayuwana, the MD/CEO of one of Nigeria’s topmost Luxury company, known to all as POLO LTD.
In fact Jenny or J-Wonder, like most who know her prefers to call her, is the very hardworking, globe-trotting Executive Director of the 5-star company.
Since she took up more powerful executive role in her father’s company (which includes CAT Construction), which in a way she practically runs now, it has been an upward swing unprecedented for the brand, with many world renowned watch brands the likes of Rolex, Breguet, Cartier, Hublot, Gaga Milano etc coming on board and having very strategic relationship with Polo Ltd, all of these successes kudos to the gorgeous & hardworking Jennifer.
All the while she was having great successes on the business front, she was also seemingly having fun on the love front then with her then beau D Banj.
Since Dapo Oyebanji aka D banj, aka Banger Lee, the only Eja Nla in Nigeria let it slip sometime ago that he & Jennifer were in a love relationship, loads & loads of media frenzy followed the revelation.
To some then, it was like it was a match made in heaven; With D banj being the most visible Nigerian entertainer in the world and an eligible bachelor at that, whilst Jennifer, is also an eligible bachelorette, one that is being primed to take over her father’s multimillion dollar rated company.
Everyone was thinking it would be like one of those happily ever after love stories we get to read about in all those novels. With many openly exclaiming how wow it was that finally, someone of Jennifer’s pedigree was the one, that had finally won the heart of such a player as D banj.
But alas, after only a few months of the whirlwind romance, which many had thought might have led to one of the weddings of the year, the steam in the love relationship seem to have totally evaporated, the once celebrated love has since waned and in its place just a platonic friendship remains; with both sides just there for each other, to support each other as friends any which way they can.
Jennifer, who only just returned a few weeks ago from a short course at the Columbia Business School, Manhattan, New York, USA where she had gone to brush up on her knowledge of business, preparatory for some bigger challenges ahead, has since moved on to pasture new.
According to some little information we could gather, the very very busy schedule of the duo, coupled with some ‘other factors’ might have been the reason(s) for the break-up. Now unlike sometimes ago in the immediate past, when it was always stress coupled with so much anxiety for Jennifer while the relationship was still hot hot, it has been more of bliss and contentment now for her now, since both have parted ways and moved on. ”
Female Banker Arrested Over Rep Member’s Death after having sex with him!!!
A member of the House of Representatives died in the early hours of Saturday after what security sources said was a sexual affair with a female banker in his private residence located at Gwarinpa Estate in Abuja.
Rep. Raphael Oloye Nomiye, 50, was until his death representing Ondo, Ilaje, Ese Odo in Ondo State under the platform of the Labour Party.
The lawmaker was said to have died shortly after an affair with the banker (names withheld). The spokesperson of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) police command, Hyelhira Altine Daniel, confirmed the incident, saying the command was still investigating the cause of the legislator’s death.
When Sunday Trust visited the deceased’s residence at Second Avenue in Gwarinpa Estate, neighbours and witnesses said the banker, who managed his accounts, was said to have rushed down for the one-storey building to inform the policemen on guard at the house that “oga just fell down and is vomiting blood.”
They said when the policemen entered into his room upstairs, they found him laying on the floor with a towel tied round his waist, while he bled from the mouth. He was then quickly taken to a private clinic on 3rd Avenue within the estate in his official Toyota Camry 2012 car with Registration Number 148B Rep.
It was further learnt that doctors at clinic declined to attend to him, saying it was a “serious” matter, following which he was then rushed to the National Hospital, Abuja, where he was later pronounced dead.
Police sources disclosed that the banker, who is now in police custody at the Gwarinpa Police Division, had earlier denied having sexual affair with the lawmaker before his death. But she was said to have changed her statement after doctors at the National Hospital conducted an examination on corpse, which confirmed that the deceased had slept with a woman shortly before his demise.
The sources said after the test, the banker admitted to interrogators that she had actually slept with the deceased and had helped him to clean up, following which he went into the bathroom, where he suddenly fell and began to vomit blood. Police investigators who inspected the lawmaker’s house had succeeded in recovering some items, including a bottle of water, which the deceased lawmaker had drank from some tissue papers and the clothes the deceased had worn earlier in the day, Sunday Trust gathered.
When our reporters visited the banker’s private residence located at Kado Estate in Abuja, two of her professional friends, who spoke on the condition of anonymity, said the banker and Raphael had been friends. They, however, denied knowledge of the lawmaker’s death.
An investigation by Sunday Trust also revealed that although the late lawmaker was married, his wife and children were not living with him in Abuja.
As at press time, there was no official statement from his family or the House, but a lawmaker in the Lower Chamber confirmed the lawmaker’s demise. He added, however, that the House would make an official statement until it received formal notification from Nomiye’s family.
“I heard of his death, but we’re yet to get any official statement from his family or any doctor. The House will make an official statement when it eventually receives confirmation from his family,” said the source.
When contacted, the Deputy Chairman of the House of Representatives Committee on Media and Publicity, Victor Ogene, said he was yet to get an official confirmation of the death and, as such, wouldn’t comment on it.

University of Oxford Study Says Women With Big Buttocks Are Smarter And Healthier
Scientists at the University of Oxford have uncovered evidence that women with big butts are not only the most intelligent, but also the most resistant to chronic illnesses.
The study examined the fat accumulated in different parts of a woman’s body, and found that women with phat buttocks were less likely to get diabetes, since they are more likely to produce hormones to metabolize sugar.
What’s more, women with big booties tended to have lower levels of cholesterol and fewer heart problems, according to the study.
This simply means that my co- women with a big butt, wide hips and a narrow waist can live longer, and even be more intelligent, since the Omega 3 fats stored in our butts support brain development.

Book Serial: The Pincer strategy used to defeat Biafra
What came your way yesterday in this intriguing tale of 3MCDO operations during the war was how Alabi-Isama and Akinrinade parted ways with their commander, Col. Adekunle. The incidents eventually led to Adekunle being relieved of command, and Col. Obasanjo taking over. Obasanjo blundered into his first battle, sustaining heavy casualties, and recoursed to the Pincer strategies earlier canvassed, but which he ignored. READ ON.
The Pincer strategies
My suggested strategy was, first for the Sector HQ to move forward to Ohoba nearer the beleaguered 16 Bde immediately, then to start what I called Operations Pincer 1, 2 or 3, one of which will not only relieve 16 Bde of pressure but end the war at the same time. the war front, and he was completely frustrated like most of us. However, we had to realize that Uli Ihiala was the most important part of Biafra at that time. So, I invited Akinrinade to my Uyo HQ to discuss the “Pincer Strategy” after which Akinrinade and I went to discuss with Ayo Ariyo in Calabar; but Ariyo was no more interested. He led us into Port Harcourt during the 30-day advance, he held Port Harcourt until Adekunle returned finally to the war front, and he was completely frustrated like most of us.
We were not sure of what was inside the house; maybe it was even bugged. So, we came outside to discuss and to study the map. However, Ayo Ariyo listened to the plans, the strategy and the tactics of Operations Pincer 1, 2 and 3, he made some corrections and adjustments to the plans, and reminded me that all these had been discussed before we left Calabar a year ago, since April 1968, and only needed some adjustments, as the situation had changed. He was right, and he also told us that he had trained another 200 recruits that could be made available; I also had about 250 and Akinrinade another 250 recruits who were trained locally. Our three sectors were solid and had not seen or experienced any Biafran counter-attack since they were routed in our sectors at Aba, Ikot Ekpene and Calabar. We intensified training in all respects; from drivers training to medical, first aid, weapons training, snipers training, artillery and mortar training.
Akinrinade and Alabi-Isama working out the Pincer strategies on their maps
We sent long range patrols, and had plotted all known Biafran troop positions, defences, their re-supply routes, including obstacles en-route Uli Ihiala which was the “Centre Of Gravity” of Biafra’s war effort at that time. Only Sector 1 had problems which were of their own making; it was just a blunder. Any new reinforcements sent to 1 Sector merely fizzled away into Ohoba/Owerri road, just to die or be wounded. The hospitals were filled up at Port Harcourt with Owerri front casualties. The situation needed a new plan and strategy, not conventional warfare, which was just frontal, brutal and got so many dead, especially in a situation where we could have defeated the Biafrans mentally before they were defeated physically.
Further to Obasanjo’s reorganization, Major S.S Tomoye who was my deputy in Sector 3, was moved to Akinrinade’s 17Bde in Aba. Prior to his redeployment, Tomoye was deputy and Brigade Major at 13 Bde in Uyo. He also knew about Ops Pincer 1, 2 and 3. As a matter of fact, he helped draw all the maps and organize the training related to the final battle for the capture of Biafra’s centre of gravity at Uli Ihiala. We were no longer in the riverine war theatre, so tactics needed to change as we expected heavy casualties, which necessitated more training for the Medical Evacuation Team on how to evacuate casualties under heavy fire. I was transferred to Enugu while Major George Innih was transferred to take over my 13 Bde in Uyo. The plan looked good even if he made it seem as though this latter change was designed to replace the “enemy” that commanded 13 Bde.
It was okay by me as long as the entire Brigade knew about ops Pincer 1,2 and 3, and the troops that fought so hard and well from Calabar to Port Harcourt did not just die like chicken in the hand of an inexperienced commander; but the casualties kept coming in an alarming rate.

Why Peter Okoye’s Family Members Do Not Like His New Wife Claims she sleeps around with her so called ‘uncles’
A lot of fans have been wondering why Peter Okoye’s big brother did not attend his wedding to Lola Omotayo which took place on Sunday, 17th of November.
Various reasons have been given for this curious occurrence and a report by a Nigeria entertainment website went on to reveal what is truly going on in the family.
On Sunday, November 17, 2013, Lagos stood still for Psquare‘s Peter Okoye and fiancée Lola Omotayo as the couple held their traditional wedding ceremony, surprisingly elder brother Jude Okoye was missing.
Social network has been buzzing. The twins’ publicist Bayo Adetu said Jude was missing at the wedding because he was stuck in Ghana. Psquare had performed in Accra, Ghana at the ‘Glo and Bounce Slide‘ tour the night before. Adetu says Jude missed his flight and couldn’t get back to Lagos in time for the nuptials.
But a source who was part of another artiste’s entourage to Ghana for the concert says Jude Okoye did NOT travel to Ghana. ‘We didn’t see him, the twins were here with their band but we didn’t see Jude‘, a source said.
There are few instances pointing to the fact that Jude did not travel with his Pop star twin brothers to Ghana for the concert: Jude, a regular user of photo sharing Instagram never fails to post photos of their trip outside Nigeria – there were no photos of him aboard the airplane heading to GH, photos of the twins performing at the concert.
One source asks: ‘If he was truly stuck in Ghana, wouldn’t he have even lamented on Twitter like D’banj?‘.
Instead Jude posted a photo of himself and Wizkid in the studio. The picture is believed to have been taken a night before at the Mavin Records studio where he had been working with Don Jazzy, Dr SID, Phyno and others.
Inside sources in the Okoye family revealed that Jude Okoye and a few other family members did not support their brother’s marriage to his baby mama Lola Omotayo. Some sources also also claim their late mother never supported the relationship too.
‘Jude and some others don’t like her. They never gave their blessing for the marriage. Paul too, but he is his twin. Other family members who were there were reluctant to attend. Jude didn’t go because he never supported the idea from day one‘, a family source tells us.
Some of the Okoye family members have even gone as far as insinuating that Lola Omotayo has allegedly constantly cheated on Peter Okoye. It was gathered there have been demands for a DNA test to really ascertain whether his children Cameron and Aliona are truly his. ‘It’s that serious, they claim Lola sleeps around with her so called ‘uncles’, they want a DNA test done, they just want to protect their brother‘.
This allegations have not been confirmed, and Adetu insists there are no issues, that Jude was only MIA because he was stuck in Ghana. One of the couple’s friends also told us all these are ‘wicked rumours’. ‘Wicked, false rumours. Nothing can be more false and distasteful. They should leave them alone and let them have peace…’
Lola currently lives in a mansion in Park View estate, Ikoyi. The Okoyes are currently building their new home somewhere not to far from there. It is uncertain where the couple will make their home.
Jude Okoye has been working with Psquare, his younger brothers since they released their first album ‘Last Nite‘ under Timbuk2 Music label back in 2003.
