Blind Date Goes Wrong As Woman Discovers Mystery Lover Is Her Father-In-Law

Blind Date Goes Wrong As Woman Discovers Mystery Lover Is Her Father-In-Law
The last thing you need when planning to cheat on your husband with a mystery man is for the guy to turn out to be his dad.
That’s what reportedly happened when Lili went on a secret rendezvous in Heilongjiang province, north-east China, with a man she had met on the internet.
Little did the 28-year-old know she had arranged a blind date with her father-in-law, Wang Pai, after they had both used false identities. As if things couldn’t get any worse, the unfaithful wife had been followed to the hotel location by her husband, the man’s son Wang Jai.
When she rang the doorbell to the room while in her pink bathrobe and the dad answered, Jai went berserk and started to assault both of them.
Pai, 57, spoke of his surprise at finding out his secret date was his daughter-in-law.
He said: “We eventually agreed to meet for a romantic liaison, but when I opened the door I don’t know if she was more surprised or me. She turned round and ran off down the hallway straight into her husband, my son, who had been following her.”
The husband was detained for five days after knocking out two of his wife’s teeth and causing his father to be taken to hospital with a head injury.

18years old Girl Gangraped In Bayelsa Commits Suicide

The Nigerian police in Bayelsa has confirmed that an 18-year-old girl committed suicide after a gang rape by three unidentified men last week.
One of the young girl's family members, who pleaded for anonymity, said the girl was gangraped last week in Amarata, Yenagoa Local Government Area of Bayelsa State.
“She was on an errand for her elder sister and was allegedly raped at gun point by three boys who forced her into an uncompleted building.
“The girl was devastated after the incident.
“After some days she told her sister and the husband her experience. Her sister’s husband who is a Pastor, asked her to describe any of her attackers.
“She described one of the boys, but the boy could not be found; I believe Pastor counselled her (the victim).
“The pastor has promised to pursue the matter in court.
“She swallowed a poisonous substance known as Sniper and she was discovered while groaning in pains and rushed to GloryLand Hospital.
“The victim's suicide plot was discovered through the note she dropped before taking the poisonous substance,” .
The Spokesman of the state Police Command, Mr Alex Akhigbe, told newsmen in Yenagoa that he believes the deceased decided to kill herself due to the attendant shame and stigmatisation she experienced after the rape incident.
He said that the command has launched an investigation into the alleged rape charges filed by the deceased's family.

Jeta & Mbong Amata have separated after almost 10 years together

For all the fans of Jeta and Mbong Amata, I am about to break your hearts. The prolific movie director and his beautiful actress wife of five years Mbong Amata, 28, have separated. They have actually been separated for about a year now but y'all are just hearing about it. And from what I gathered Jeta and Mbong didn't fight, they just decided to let each other go.
Jeta met Mbong when she was only 16 years old in Calabar in 2001 during a movie audition. He waited for her to mature and they started dating when she turned 18 two years later. In 2008, they welcomed a daughter, that same year, Jeta married Mbong. They later moved from their base in Abuja to Los Angeles so Jeta could work on his movie projects

Here's what I heard happened between them. Mbong met Jeta when she was so young, married him and became a mother in her early twenties. She is a former beauty queen (Miss Akwa Ibom 2003) and her dream was to be an actress. Jeta didn't mind his wife being an actress but he didn't want her featuring in Nollywood movies, so he restricted her. Mbong, some of you may have noticed, only featured in Jeta's movies. And because she met Jeta so young, Mbong didn't get a chance to date other men, never partied and until they separated, never earned a living on her own. She relied on Jeta for everything.
When they moved to the US, it became a little worse for Mbong. She became lonely and instead of being the star actress she's always dreamed of, she became a housewife, caring for Jeta and their five year old daughter. Mbong became resentful and left Jeta in 2011 and returned to Nigeria. Jeta went after her and they reconciled after Jeta promised to give her a bit more space to pursue her dreams.
Jeta tried to live up to his promise, but as an African man, just couldn't compromise much and so last year Mbong wanted out of the marriage and Jeta let her go. Mbong and Jeta have been living separately in Los Angeles for about a year now. When I asked if there was any hope for reconciliation, my source told me 'it's only a matter of time before they file for divorce. They have moved on and the love is no longer there. Mbong is very happy now that she can do whatever she wants without a husband to stop her or tell her what she can or can't do"
I've known Jeta Amata for a long time, since the 90's in fact and so before writing this I reached out to him to get his own side of the story, and because we are friends, Jeta opened up to me.
He confirmed that they have indeed separated & partly blamed himself for the break up. He told me;
"Mbong is an amazing mother, an incredible wife...all the time we were together she would never let any other person cook my food...she was faithful and good to me and gave me the best gift in the world, our beautiful daughter. If I didn't cage her so much maybe we would still be together. I stole her youth and didn't let her live her dream so it was better to let her go and find new adventures. She's happy and so am I. Despite the fact that we are no longer together, we are still good friends. She even lives close to me here in LA. Things are great between us and I'm happy to see her happy."
Since the separation Mbong has featured in two Nollywood movies, one of them is Forgetting June produced by Emem Isong, which she came back to Nigeria to shoot. She also revealed her sexy bikini body some months back.

'No Man Bought My Chrysler Convertible For Me’ – Halima Abubakar

Nollywood actress, Halima Abubakar has rubbished the tale that she got her new ride, Chrysler Convertible from a man as a gift.
Here's what she told ENCOMIUM Weekly on Saturday, October 19, 2013:
“I don’t like talking about any issue like this again. Everybody knows I am very hard working, and anything I am able to achieve is through my hard work. And I thank God for blessing my career. So, the issue of whether a man is responsible for this and that is rubbish and baseless.”
Asked if she has started cruising in the new object of comfort, she said:
“Yes, I have started driving the car after my father blessed it last week. It’s very comfortable. I thank God for everything.

Woman Turns Up Alive Almost Two Weeks After Her Funeral

A 50-year-old Philadelphia woman named Sharolyn Jackson died, was laid to rest by her family and then turned up very much alive just 13 days after her funeral.
Jackson was declared dead by a medical examiner on August 3rd after what was believed to be her body was discovered on the street. She was said to have died from natural causes and was identified by her son and social worker. And then … something crazy happened.
While it remains unknown how exactly Jackson disappeared, CBS Philly reported that she showed up at a mental health facility looking frazzled nearly two weeks after she was purportedly buried.
Naturally, her family was thrilled to see their loved, but there was just one problem: Who the heck did they bury?
The identity of the woman the family mourned and held a funeral for is still unknown, though the body is set to be exhumed, so they’ll probably figure all that out soon enough
So far, city officials say they know the body is that of an unidentified woman who was found dead from natural causes July 20th on a West Philadelphia street.
When a social worker who knows Jackson — and her son — both identified pictures of the dead woman as Ms. Jackson, the Medical Examiner’s Office signed a death certificate, allowing an undertaker to remove her body for funeral services and burial.
A representative of the Philadelphia Health Department says all proper procedures were followed by workers and, with two people, including a family member, identifying her, it was following protocol to release the body.
Let’s hope the family of whoever they originally buried is able to get some closure and lay the woman to rest themselves.

Stella Oduah Again!...Another Aviation Agency Bought 4 Toyota Tundras For Her Alongside Four Limos

A new SAHARAREPORTERS investigation reveals that the National Airspace Management Agency (NAMA), another agency under the Ministry of Aviation, also purchased four Toyota Tundra vehicles for the Minister, Mrs. Stella Oduah.
Nigerians are currently up in arms about two armoured cars purchased for her by another agency, the Nigeria Civil Aviation Authority, at the scandalous rate of N225million, and many are calling for her to be fired.
The Tundras are in addition to four stretch limousine cars that were allegedly purchased for the movement of VIPs.
Saharareporters obtained the photos of the Limousines, which were parked at the headquarters of the Total Radar Coverage of Nigeria (TRACON)
grounds in Abuja today.
Efforts to get the NAMA spokesperson, Supo Atobatele, to comment on the fresh allegations proved abortive as he claimed he was driving and could not speak on the wheel. When later confronted with the facts, Mr. Atobatele denied the existence of the stretch limos claiming that NAMA is a “professional agency” that provides navigational aid to aircrafts flying within Nigeria’s airspace. He hung  up and switched off his phone when further told that Saharareporters had the photos.
NAMA’s CEO, Nnamdi Udo, reportedly made the purchase and ‘donation’ of the Tundras to the Minister in June 2013. The four Limousines were received in the third week of June but have never been put to use.
Last week after SaharaReporters revealed the purchase of two BMW armored cars for the Minister, her aides and later the Managing Director of the Nigeria Civil Aviation Authority, Fola Akinkuotu, claimed the vehicles were meant for VIP movement, but a former lawmaker and leader of Anti-Corruption Network, Dino Melaye, told SaharaReporters today that it is the duty of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to transport international VIPs in Nigeria.
He also revealed that the most important Aviation inspectors are teams from the ICAO who already have a Nigerian office which handles all their transactions.
SaharaReporters could not confirm if the NAMA limos are armoured. It is also unclear why NAMA, an agency believed to be cash-strapped, would need stretch limos that are normally used by celebrities, to ferry international VIPS.
Meanwhile, a high-level source has confirmed to SaharaReporters that the Total Radar Coverage of Nigeria, which Mrs. Oduah brags about as one of
her achievements in office, provides epileptic service. Because it often breaks down, the objective of establishing a safer national airspace is said to have been compromised. Foreign airlines are said to rely on their built in navigational equipment for air safety within the Nigerian airspace.

District Grand Lodge of Nigeria Centennial anniver-sary

FREEMASONRY is one of the world’s oldest and largest non-religious non-political, fraternal and charitable organisations. For many, its biggest draw is the fact that members come from all walks of life and meet as equals whatever their race, religion, or socio-economic position in society. With value based on integrity, kindness, honesty, fairness and tolerance, Freemasonry provides a unique environment for all people to learn skills and achieve their potential and above all have fun. In this interview with PEACE ONYEUKWU, Olorogun Moses Taiga talks about the advent of Freemasonry in Nigeria and how they have impacted the lives of Nigerians positively. Excerpts…
*Olorogun Moses Taiga
District Grand Master for Nigeria RWBro Olorogun Moses Taiga

Tell us about the advent of Freemasonry in Nigeria?
The district grand lodge of Nigeria is part of the united grand lodge of England which was formed in 1717 as a philosophical fraternity whose members sought to further their education and spirituality. The grand lodge is headed by HRH, the Duke of Kent. Freemasonry is a benevolent, social and charitable universal organisation whose members focus on lessons that help them on a journey to achieve moral and spiritual enlightenment.

What are the guiding principles of the organisation?
The three principles on which Freemasonry rests are brotherly love, belief and truth; and the great virtues of Freemasonry are hope and charity. The sublime concept of relief finds its full expression in the wider context of charity. And as a landmark of Freemasonry, it is so deeply embedded in the institution that its absence would radically modify the essence of the order. Freemasonry does not have an institutionalized system of worship and it encourages its members to be active in whichever religion or church they belong to.

What is its mission and how has it been able to achieve it?
Masonry has no other mission than to exalt and ennoble humanity to bring light out of darkness. In pursuit of its mission the grand lodge of Nigeria has over the years granted relief through various charity projects to those in need. Not only does the district compliments the Freemasonry care project which offers support to freemasons and their dependants, it has also reached out to numerous non-Masonic groups and institutions.

What is the capacity of the organisation in Nigeria?
Nigeria is one of such districts with 36 lodges and over 1,000 members in the English constitution. There are about six million Freemasons worldwide. Freemasonry is universal and does not dis-criminate on grounds of race, colour, religion, political views on social standing. Freemason-ry can boast of men of caliber and substance. The list of famous international masons includes prime ministers, royalty, writers, artists, and distinguished military mem-bers. Fourteen US presidents have been masons from George Washington to Gerald Ford.

How has the Freemasons contributed positively to the development of the Nigerian society?
Freemasons make major con-tributions to the societies through various charities. Like in University of Lagos we have written and received response from them to sponsor five stud-ents in Law, Engineering and Medical faculties. We have started with the University of Lagos but hope to spread to other universities. We are also building a hospital in Lekki right now for people to go for a free medical attention.

We’ve donated to Kanu Heart Found-ation, Blind Centre at Ebute Meta, Babsalam Motherless Baby Home, GRA, Ikeja, School of the Handicapped, Amuwo Odofin. All these charities are from one of our 36 lodges in Nigeria: every lodge has his own collection of charities because charity is very important to us. Freemason exists for the glory of God and the good of our fellow men, and the sincere desire to leave this world better than we found it.

Can you let us into the District Grand Lodge of Nigeria Centennial?
We are going to have a cock-tail party at Eko Hotel on October 25 and the following day at 2.00 p.m. is the celebrat-ion of our 100 years anniver-sary. We are going to have a lecture to be delivered by former Ghanaian president, Mr. John Kufour. Expected at the grand finale is grand master, the Duke of Kent represented by his Pro and his grand secretary who is going to precide over the affair.

We also have the assurance of the Grand Master and Grand Lodge of Nigeria, HRM, Obi of Onitsha, the Oni of Ife in attendance. We are expecting people from South Africa, Zambia and Europe. The District Grand Masters of Ghana and Sierra Leone are expected too. And at the launch we are going to make a presentation to Sickle Cell Foundation. Freemasonry is more relevant and important in the society today than ever as it encompasses and embraces all the fundamental principles of good citizenship.

Tragic: See Photos From Beautiful Wedding Minutes Before Groom Was Killed In Front Of His New Wife

Wedding That Turned to Horror: Who Murdered Groom and Why?
A new bride was forced to watch her new husband being shot dead by masked gunmen at their Jamaican wedding reception.
Jacqueline Cousins, 49, married Dameion Cousins, 31, in an idyllic ceremony in the Caribbean.
But hours later an armed gang burst into the reception claiming the groom owed them $10,000 Jamaican dollars – just $100 (USD).
They held the bride at gunpoint while Mr Cousins was shot in the head outside in the driveway.
Mrs Cousins, a family support worker, from Hornsey, North London, said she has no idea why the gang targeted her husband.
She said: “I started screaming and screaming and I could not believe what I was seeing. I lay down next to him and I put my head on his chest. I realised he was dead.
We were just two people who really loved each other and had taken that move to be together and just a few hours later this is what I was dealing with.”
The mother-of-seven first met Mr Cousins – a songwriter and performer – when she visited her parent’s home in Jamaica 11 years ago. The couple did not begin dating until seven years later when her previous marriage fell apart.
After a long-distance romance Mr Cousins proposed on New Year’s Day in 2012 and the pair married in an intimate ceremony at his home in Hart Hill, Jamaica, in July this year.
“It was absolutely beautiful,” said Mrs Cousins. “There was a red carpet, and just 17 people there including us, with twinkling fairy lights.
“I had picked flowers from my mother’s garden and Dameion had made beautiful pathway with them. I had never seen him so happy.”
The reception was also held at the property and Mr Cousins briefly left towards the end of the evening to drop his two daughters back to their mother’s house.
The new wife and her mother-in-law Dorothy, 80, were chatting in an upstairs bedroom when two thugs burst in and demanded to know “where is the Rasta?”
They claimed he owed them cash and one of the intruders went in search of valuables. But at that moment Mr Cousins pulled into the drive and the women heard a number of gunshots before the gunmen scarpered.
Wedding That Turned to Horror: Who Murdered Groom and Why?
Distraught Mrs Cousins discovered her new husband had been shot in the head and neck. Recalling the attack, she said: “I was so frightened I could barely lift my head to look at them .
I told them that he was not there, that they could take what they wanted, but it all happened to quickly.”
Police arrested two men following the brutal attack, but released them without charge and no one has ever been caught or prosecuted.
The newlyweds planned to return to London so Mrs Cousins could continue work and her new husband could get a job.
Mrs Cousins, who returned to London in August, said: “I just want answers. The two men who killed my husband are still out there.
Everybody loved Dameion. He got on with everyone. I think it was simply jealousy that he might have left the country and had a life with me.”

Cost Of Stella Oduah’s N255m Armoured Cars Massively Inflated; Coscharis Keeps Mum

stella-oduahs-bmw-1
Efforts to get Coscharis Motors, the supplier of the controversial vehicles to disclose the actual cost of a BMW Li 766 were not successful. Phone calls and e-mails to the company were not responded. PREMIUM TIMES also contacted BMW to verify the cost of an armoured BMW Li 766 car. The company said it had forwarded the request to the relevant department for assessment and had not responded as at press time.
But checks at various online auto dealers gave a glimpse into the cost of the vehicle. At Freedom Global Cars, a world class supplier in the global sales of both luxury and armoured vehicles, a Sapphire black 2012 BMW 760Li High Security car costs £265,000 – including VAT – (about N64m).
The purchase of the cars had brought the aviation ministry into public scrutiny and condemnation, with civil society groups and some aviation stakeholders calling for the minister’s resignation. J.D Nkemakolam, the official of the Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority, NCAA, who was involved in the purchase of the cars refused to respond to PREMIUM TIMES enquiries. “I cannot talk to you on an information that is already in the public domain.
I am a public servant,” said Mr. Nkemakolam, a former Acting Director General of the NCAA. Fan Ndubuoke, NCAA’s Spokesperson, also refused to comment on the new vehicles whose purchase has generated a lot of controversy. “I can only tell you that cars were bought by the NCAA for directors and general managers.
I wouldn’t know who got what. And it was well publicised,” Mr. Ndubuoke said. “I don’t know how many cars that were bought. I don’t know anything about the cost of any car. Such questions are outside the NCAA, they should be directed to the minister. I can’t speak for the minister,” Mr. Ndubuoke added. The New York based online newspaper, Sahara Reporters had exposed how Mrs. Oduah allegedly compelled the NCAA, an agency under her supervision, in a presumed case of corruption, conflict of interest, and abuse of office, to procure the cars for her with public funds.
The newspaper supported its report with documents of the procurement, a revelation aviation authorities initially attempted to dismiss as “rumours” but were later forced to admit under intense pressure. Reports showed how the transaction for the purchase of the two BMW vehicles began last June, and the request for delivery of and payment for the two vehicles fast-tracked between August 13 and 15.
The transaction involved the NCAA, First Bank of Nigeria, and Coscharis Motors Limited. In a letter dated August 13, 2013, Mr. Nkemakolam sent a letter to the Managing Director of Coscharis Motors asking the company to deliver two BMW 760 armoured vehicles to the agency based on a pro-forma invoice dated June 25, 2013 at the cost of N127, 575,000 ($796,846.21) each.
The total amount for the two black BMW Li HSS vehicles, with chassis numbers WBAHP41050DW68032 and WBAHP41010DW68044 respectively, was N255,150,000, or $1,593,687.31. The NCAA’s letter further directed Coscharis Motors to deliver the vehicles with sales invoices, delivery notes, and attestation documents.
