Chelsea’s new firing striker Diego Costa is 25 years old, but many people think he looks much older than that. And his new Chelsea teammate Eden Hazard is one of them.
During an interview with Tubes from Sky Sports’ Soccer AM, Hazard mentioned his plan to get to the bottom of this.
“Costa looks old so I will ask him if he really is 25, even though he doesn’t speak English yet!”
Convenient, isn’t it? Going to a country where he doesn’t speak the language and can more easily evade questions about his age was probably all part of Costa’s plan. Born in Brazil, Costa began his career in Portugal, then moved to Spain, where he eventually gained citizenship and joined the national team for this summer’s World Cup. The new striker has scored 2 goals in his 2 league matches so far against Burnley and Leicester City..”
