"We Snatched Bag Containing Fufu, Soup Thinking There Was Money"

Three members of an armed robbery gang have been arrested by operatives of the Rapid Response Squad, in Ajegunle, Apapa, Lagos, for snatching a bag from a woman, thinking it contained money and other valuables, only to discover there were just 2 wraps of fufu and soup inside. . They are Emmanuel Ashaolu, Ikenna Bright and Daniel Daji, 19, a Benionese. Their victim shouted for help and this prompted the RRS team to pursue them, Ashaolu was arrested while Dali and Bright escaped. They were later picked up at their apartment where they were holed up, smarting from their failure.
