Jennifer Lopez Denies Having German Hotel Maid Fired
Using social media to tell her side of the story, Jennifer Lopez took to her Twitter page on Tuesday (November 6) to address the recent scandal over a German hotel maid claiming she was fired after asking the songstress for an autograph.
Clearly upset about the negative story, the Latina beauty tweeted, "C'mon thought you knew me better than this.. Would never get anyone fired over an autograph. 1st I heard of this was on twitter.#hurtful."
According to Melia Dusseldorf employee Pray Dodaj, she claims she was let go after knocking on Lopez's door, telling German tabloid Bild, "A day later the cleaning company that employed me at the hotel called and said that Ms Lopez had complained," adding, "I was fired right there on the phone. Because of an autograph."
Confirming the decision, hotel director Cyrus Heydarian said, "She has acted contrary to the contractual arrangements and disturbed the privacy of our guests."
At this point, no other comments have been made from JLo or her camp.
