President Buhari Appoints Nwalem Mbam,Marilyn Amobi RMAFC and NBET Bosses


President Muhammadu Buhari has approved the reappointment of a Chairman for the Revenue Mobilization, Allocation and Fiscal Commission (RMAFC). He is Engineer Elias Nwalem Mbam.
It will be recalled that he was appointed in 2010 by former President Goodluck Jonathan.
According to statement from the office of the Secretary to the government of the federation, President Buhari also approved the appointment of Dr. Marilyn Amobi as the Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer of Nigerian Bulk Electricity Trading Company (NBET), Mrs. Amobi’s appointment is for a tenure of four years.
Marilyn obtained her PhD from CASS Business School, City University London, England; her graduate degree in Economic Regulation and Competition from the Department of Economics, City University London, England and her undergraduate Economics degree from the University of Nigeria Nsukka.
Marilyn started her career in the finance sector in Africa, working first as an investment and later a retail banker. She has served as an energy (electricity and natural gas) policy advisor in Europe, North America and Africa. An Associate of the Higher Education Academy in England, Marilyn has taught undergraduate and graduate level courses in Europe.
She is a fellow of the Centre for Organizational Research, Institute of Management, Faculty of Economics, University of Lugano, Switzerland.
