DR IFEANYI UBAH; A RESPONSE TO MR UZOCHUKWU ORABILE'S COMMENT

 DR IFEANYI  UBAH; A RESPONSE TO MR UZOCHUKWU ORABILE'S COMMENT.

In reaction to Mr Uzochukwu Orabile's diatribe on my facebook post "GAME CHANGER", i wish to categorically state that my support for Dr Ifeanyi Ubah is based on empirical facts and realities on ground, this negates contradiction(s) from my statements. First of all, let me correct your unspurious allegations regarding subsidy theft, which NNPC was indicted in the investigation where they claimed it was owed N1.6trillion in subsidy. Capital Oil and Gas was "alleged" to have misappropriated fuel subsidy and the company chairman in the person of Dr Ifeanyi Ubah was summoned by the EFCC and special fraud unit of the police force (SFU), to verify their claims on "round tipping" and other misconceptions of which the allegation bordered on. He had hitherto honoured that invitation and subsequently cleared his name. Mind you, according to some reports, Aig Imoukhede who is the chairman of the presidential task force on subsidy claims verification, blatantly refused to answer the call by the house of representative committee on public petition brought by Dr Ifeanyi Uba, prompting the lower house of representative to threaten his arrest. (See link: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yzIJX5ZRRck).

Sen Andy Uba, Gov Peter Obi and the co-ordinating minister of the economy and minister for finance Mrs Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala who he (Dr Ifeanyi Ubah) accused of playing "Anambra politics"  with the subsidy investigation, amongst other political big wigs was after him who sort to take over his tank farm facility in Lagos State by contriving falsehood and starting a campaign of calumny against him and the modus operandi of his organisation. They searched in futility for loopholes in his business entity to indict him, in other to twat his gubernatorial ambition come 2014. It is rather important to remind you that one is innocent until proven otherwise and going by that analogy, the Police special fraud unit SFU has cleared him of any wrongdoing with respect to those malicious and grotesque claims, please see link: {\field{\*\fldinst{HYPERLINK "http://www.huhuonline.com/index.php/more-news1/964-subsidy-scam-police-clears-capital-oil-of-misconduct"}}{\fldrslt http://www.huhuonline.com/index.php/more-news1/964-subsidy-scam-police-clears-capital-oil-of-misconduct}
According to your rationale, the desire to regain lost business and loan defaults are his main reason for contesting the Anambra Guber election, such claim is rather bewildering considering you don't know the financial details of his business, or if you are, or were, at any time employed as a staff of Capital Oil and Gas Ltd, as financial personnel or was a member of their audit team? which i presume precipitated your knowledge in making these claims or if it's just another figment of your imagination? However, we both know and will agree, there isn't a business in today's global economy that hasn't suffered economic loss, even world economies of which some are on the brink of collapse, even triple dip recession. A business man who built a business empire from nothing can rebuild it and he had demonstrated this fact by building and running a successful business for many years. To write without any facts that someone whom you do not know personally or had the opportunity to relish in his company know so much of his business which you claim have suffered losses, and it's now in need of re-capitalisation, to me it's just another of your blunders that i find quite preposterous to say the least.

On the issue of Cosmas Maduka, if you know the man in question (Dr Cosmas Maduka) very well, you'll know his business mainstay is solely on car imports and sales. You claim that Uba duped his own kinsman. I can garner you perceived that opinion from Channels TV, Opinions are not facts, as we all know and you can not arrive on conclusions based on one-sided opinions expressed on Channels TV. One must listen to both sides and since you get your information online, you should see Dr Ifeanyi Uba's response to Dr Cosmas Maduka's allegation which permits me not to go into details and straight onto the next point you raised. (see link: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XNNTrrXW3Rs) and (see link: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tugUcOBZCLQ).

Now, to address the issue of Dr Christopher Nwabueze Ngige, you speak of rising above "SENTIMENTS AND BIAS " as well as you're rooting for, due of his previous performance. However you have contradicted yourself with regards to bias. Dr Chris Ngige was not elected into government house Awka, in other words his governorship was based on bias! You also failed to mention that your preferred candidate for the Gubernatorial election in the person of Sen Chris Ngige was a benefactor of godfatherism, which set Anambra State back to primordial era! Not to mention the monumental electoral malpractices perpetrated by the supporters of Sen Ngige (The Uba's), hijacking of Gov Peter Obi's mandate, this is undemocratic by all accounts!. This same Sen Chris Ngige was a product of the Uba godfathers who ruined Anambra State and left her citizens despondent, not withstanding the academic interference caused by the non payment of teachers salaries, as well as their selfish and moral bankruptcy to bleed the state treasury dry without impunity. Neither did his predecessor in the person of Dr CC Mbadinuju who was foisted on Anambrarians by Solomon Lar, the then PDP national chairman favouring the Uba's/ Emeka Offor in short changing the legitimate winner of the 1999 PDP gubernatorial primaries which was convincingly won by Prof ABC Nwosu.
 To put things in perspective, both candidates (Dr Ifeanyi Uba and Dr Chris Ngige) are individually vying for Anambra gubernatorial election come Nov' 13. If we look at their profiles and past record, Dr Ifeanyi Uba's record carpets that of Dr Chris Ngige in view of his perennial philanthropy in giving over 150 scholarships in the past 4 years, considering he is one of the highest private sector employer of labour with over 3,000 gainfully employed by one his organisations in the down stream sector. His state of the art tank farm facility in Lagos State Nigeria is the biggest in terms of capacity and most modern which distributes more than 35% of the national petroleum distribution and generates tax for the government. Not to mention what his foundation has done for more than 4,000 widows in Anambra State and more than 2,800 In Enugu State in terms of empowerment and bringing succour to the poor and needy. In which some of the benefactors say:
What do you want me to say, that a poor widow has been given a bag of rice in this austere time. The foundation has made me feel on top of the world.\'94 as well as a  widow, a 30-year-old Charity Idoko from Enugu State, who lost her husband on January 5, 2005, expressed her gratitude to the foundation as she benefited from its generosity.
 Bearing in mind all these good deeds are not limited to, or exclusive to indigenes of Anambra State alone, but cuts across people from various states and facets of the south east. Please read the profile of Dr Ifeanyi Uba foundation and scholarship foundation. (See link: https://www.facebook.com/pages/Ifeanyi-Ubah-Scholarship-Foundation-IUSF/204786819587089).
It doesn't end there, he has distributed free dual purpose kerosene (DPK) in the excess of 1,980,000 litres FREE OF CHARGE to citizens of Anambra to ease the difficulty in accessing this scare product. Dr Ifeanyi Uba is a  business mogul who takes great pride and devotion in what he does, he comes from a very humble background as both of his parents are teachers, an astute player, an achiever and a charismatic leader among other superlatives. All these aforementioned philanthropic largesse had been designed, planned, procured and delivered using personal funds devoid of government support which isn't evident with Sen Ngige on or before his reign as a PDP governor.

Let me make this clear, Sen Chris Ngige was forced to perform, or rather had no choice than to award contracts to his sister and cronies as a rouge governor because of the many issues he faced when he fell out of love with the Uba's which facilitated their wanting him out of office by any means necessary.

They are many grey areas that i could go on and on, but for the sake of cohesion and readers digest, i will leave it at this and let you be the judge of both candidates, after you have compared, contrasted and researched in-depth on both individuals credulously.
I REST MY CASE.
