Security agents lock down cargo plane with arms and ammunitions in Kano
Otohmillar on Saturday night gathered that a cargo plane that landed at the Aminu Kano International Airport, Kano was locked down by security officers.
The plane was then thoroughly searched by security agents who reportedly arrived at the airport prior to the arrival of the cargo.
The content was not disclosed, but sources said the plane might have been loaded with arms and ammunitions.
As at the time of filing this report, the area where the plane is parked has been cordoned by the Nigerian Army and airport security.
Aviation Ministry and its agencies are yet to make any comment on the development.
It would be recalled that it was also in Kano city, that the State Security Service and the Military discovered a large armoury in a warehouse owned by a suspected terror group of Lebanese origin.
