A wild elephant made his way out of a nature reserve in southern China and headed for the highway. He had some cars to crush.
Jezebel.com reports that officials from the Xishuangbanna prefecture say that the elephant had been in competition with another male elephant over the affections of a lady elephant, and was ultimately her second choice suitor. This left him moody and irritable with some tensions that needed to be released, if you know what I mean.
Smashing a car is almost like having a climax, and it tempers the sting of rejection slightly.
In about twenty minutes the horny elephant managed to damage 15 cars, but the government has released a statement saying they’ll be covering repairs. There really isn’t insurance coverage for this kind of thing.
