Ken Anugweje, a board member of the Athletics Federation of Nigeria, AFN, has been kidnapped. He was kidnapped yesterday, in Port Harcourt, Rivers State.
The Head of Media of AFN who confirmed the development is soliciting help from every quarters to facilitate the prompt release of Mr. Anugweje, who is also a professor of medicine.
“Prof. Ken Anugweje, a professor of sports medicine and member of AFN board has been kidnapped in Port Harcourt. The AFN appeal to Nigerians with information to assist security agents to rescue him,” Mr Thomas stated.
