The source of death of Abubakar Audu, candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the November 21 governorship election of Kogi state, has been revealed.
According to TheCable, a source confirmed that Audu died after suffering stroke on two different occasions on Sunday.
Reports said he complained of stomach cramp before going to bed Saturday night, suffered a stroke around 9am on Sunday.
The source added that he suffered the second stroke after INEC declared the election inconclusive.
“Audu was supposed on his way to Lokoja this morning, but changed his mined and decided to stay in his village in Ogbonicha after complaining of? ill-health”, the source said.
The source added further that: “he suffered stroked shortly after, but was stabilised until INEC declared the result of the governorship election inconclusive”
