Veterian Nigerian producer/director Amaka Igwe has passed away after suffering an asthmatic attack. The mother of 3 gave up the ghost while being taken to the hospital.
she was in Enugu for pre-production of an Igbo series when the unfortunate incident occurred, according to reports.
Ibinabo Fiberesima, the President of the Actor’s Guild of Nigeria, confirmed the news to Best of Nollywood. She is survived by 3 children, her husband of 21 years and her mother.
Amaka is widely recognized for one of the best all-time TV series in Nigeria, Fuji House of Commotion.
